    "description": "<p>Te Roopu Taurima is the largest kaupapa Māori disability support provider supporting tāngata (people we serve) of all ethnicities with intellectual and physical impairments. You will support tangata to develop skills, build routines, participate in their community, and work towards goals that are meaningful to them.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building positive, trusting, and respectful relationships</li>\n<li>Supporting daily routines and home management</li>\n<li>Assisting with cooking, shopping, budgeting, and household organisation</li>\n<li>Encouraging community participation and healthy lifestyle activities</li>\n<li>Supporting appointments, planning, and goal setting</li>\n<li>Helping tangata navigate challenges in an empowering and respectful way</li>\n<li>Promoting choice, independence, and self-determination</li>\n<li>Maintaining accurate documentation and communication</li>\n<li>A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential.
