    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Full Stack WordPress Developer to support a major national laboratory. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.</li>\n <li>Use judgment to suggest solutions that balance customer needs, business constraints, and technological realities.</li>\n <li>Plan and implement automated and continuous software deployments.</li>\n <li>Mature and streamline DevOps pipelines, policies, and processes.</li>\n <li>Know the newest technologies, industry trends and standard methodologies.</li>\n <li>Develop new applications and improvements to meet emerging business needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline plus minimum 7 years or more years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job.</li>\n <li>In lieu of a degree, 13 additional years of experience is applicable</li>\n <li>Must be US Citizen</li>\n <li>This position can telecommute or performed remote; however, candidates local to the Albuquerque area are preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Required Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Agile (preferably Scrum) experience</li>\n <li>Extensive skills in developing web applications, including both back-end and front-end web development experience</li>\n <li>Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal</li>\n <li>Experience developing WordPress themes, WordPress plugins, and WordPress Gutenberg front end components</li>\n <li>Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as PHP, C#, C++, Java along with related object-oriented development principles.</li>\n <li>Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of configuration management practices and experience using Git branching/merging strategies within a team environment</li>\n <li>Experience working with CI/CD pipelines</li>\n <li>Experience with DevOps pipelines, policies, and processes</li>\n <li>Ability to be self-directed on technical projects</li>\n <li>Experience with HTML, CSS, and CSS pre-processors (e.g., Sass or Less)</li>\n <li>Experience working in cloud-based environments such as AWS or Microsoft Azure</li>\n <li>Experience with web-based development patterns, such as MVC, with understanding of multi-tier systems</li>\n <li>Experience with databases such as SQL, MySQL, Oracle</li>\n <li>Knowledge of scripting languages such as HTML, PHP, JavaScript, Bash, Python</li>\n <li>Ability to conduct methodical assessments of code designed to identify bugs and to ensure code quality</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment</li>\n <li>Understanding of software testing procedures and how to apply them to project work</li>\n <li>Ability to balance competing demands of quality, scope, and schedule and to set customer expectations accordingly.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Us: </strong></p>\n<p>Edgewater Federal Solutions is a privately held government contracting firm located in Frederick, MD.
