They should have a strong background in environmental science and engineering services related to CERCLA, RCRA, and State-led corrective actions, including geology/hydrogeology, contaminant chemistry, fate and transport, environmental risk assessment, and remediation technologies. This role also involves business development and technical leadership in federal contracting, spanning sales, financial and technical evaluation, design, permitting, and project implementation. We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Business development and client management, with a focus on securing federal contracts with USACE and other Federal agencies.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement strategic growth initiatives, leveraging industry relationships and knowledge of federal procurement to win work.</li>\n <li>Identify potential contract and task order opportunities, develop capture strategies, and collaborate with a team of technical and marketing specialists to implement business development initiatives.</li>\n <li>Program, project, and task management, including proposal preparation/management, client interface, project planning and implementation, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, safety, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.</li>\n <li>Build and maintain strategic relationships with Federal clients and industry partners.</li>\n <li>Attend conferences, Industry Days, Society of American Military Engineers post events, pre-proposal meetings, and other opportunities for developing business and engaging Federal clients and industry partners.</li>\n <li>Manage challenging technical projects involving subsurface investigation, conceptual site model development, environmental assessment, carbon capture and storage, and groundwater basin planning; evaluate contaminated sites and develop remediation approaches, including feasibility studies, removal action work plans,  and remediation design plans.</li>\n <li>Lead the development of work plans, data evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses;</li>\n <li>Write technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; oversee and review documents prepared by project teams;</li>\n <li>Manage and mentor staff while collaborating with national subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal teams to strengthen technical capabilities and service offerings.</li>\n <li>Prepare and review technical reports, letters, memoranda, proposals, and design documents.</li>\n <li>Engage with clients, regulatory personnel, and internal local market leaders to develop winning proposals and deliver technical solutions.</li>\n <li>Conduct cost estimating, technical approaches, and project scheduling to support proposal development.</li>\n <li>Oversee subcontractor management and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contract requirements.</li>\n <li>Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering, geology or related field. (required)</li>\n <li>Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Professional registration (P.G./P.E.). (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 10 years’ experience (15+ preferred) focused on federal procurement, business development, and project management related to environmental assessment and remediation. (required)</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of Department of Defense agencies and federal procurement processes, including contracting, proposal preparation, and regulatory compliance. (required)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success in developing, winning and managing federal contracts. (required)</li>\n <li>Technical expertise in the CERLCA Correction Action process (PA/SI/RI/FS/RA), contaminant geology/hydrogeology. (required)</li>\n <li>Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams and subcontractors. (required)</li>\n <li>Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills. (required)</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple proposals, projects, meeting deadlines, and traveling as needed. (required)</li>\n <li>Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees.
