    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Purpose &amp; Context</span> <br>To ensure that the implementation of P2i’s technology is delivered effectively and efficiently. Support and monitor on-site production of P2i nanocoating processes and ensure all production follows the SOP’s and Work Instructions. Assist in process adjustments and provide troubleshooting and machine maintenance.</p>\n<p>(see <a href=\"https://www.p2i.com/support/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https://www.p2i.com/support/</a> for P2i manufacturing process)</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Main Responsibilities </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Machine trouble shooting and repair (Electrical &amp; Mechanical)</li>\n<li>Preventative maintenance</li>\n<li>New site facility audits, installation, set up and production training to operators</li>\n<li>Machine upgrades, assembly &amp; validation</li>\n<li>Daily machine maintenance checks</li>\n<li>Monitor daily operation &amp; ensure operators follow P2i procedure</li>\n<li>Replacement of consumable materials and stock replenishment</li>\n<li>Machine quality issue identification, escalation &amp; remedial suggestion</li>\n<li>Product coating performance quality issue identification &amp; correction</li>\n<li>Update production, maintenance, upgrade &amp; validation records</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Support other sites by travel if assigned</span></li>\n<li>Involve in NPI trial run to transfer from pilot stage to mass production</li>\n<li>Ensure Health, Safety &amp; Environmental requirements are met</li>\n<li>Process optimization including recommendation for customers’ on-site process flow improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Relationships and Interfaces</span> <br>P2i Service &amp; Support staff, P2i Operations management, P2i Technical sales support, P2i Product specialists, Operators and customers.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Academic Qualifications </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor Degree in Electrical &amp; Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with electronics or similar/equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 years or above in a similar position in thin film or nano coating equipment such as CVD, PECVD, PVD, etc.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated capability of machine electro-mechanical problem solving and troubleshooting.</li>\n<li>Broad technical skills (electrical/electronic/mechanical)</li>\n<li>Ability to read electrical/circuit/wiring diagrams</li>\n<li>Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic &amp; vacuum for processing &amp; validation</li>\n<li>Flexibility to travel if assigned/requested</li>\n<li>Detail-oriented in data recording and root cause analysis</li>\n<li>High level in written and oral English</li>\n<li>Good Excel/Word/Power Point (MS Office) skills and ability to create reports</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable </span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of PLC operation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Behaviours</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good team player with clear communication skills and customer awareness but has ability to work on his or her own initiative</li>\n<li>Proactive &amp; Self-disciplined in delivering the tasks required with minimal supervision</li>\n<li>Flexibility in work hours, over time and vacations to meet service level agreements with customers</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flexibility for travel<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Generic Health &amp; Safety Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take reasonable care of your own health and safety</li>\n<li>Take reasonable care not to put other people - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk by what you do or don't do in the course of your work</li>\n<li>Co-operate with the Company, making sure you get proper training and you understand and follow the company's health and safety policies</li>\n<li>Not to interfere with or misuse anything that's been provided for your health, safety or welfare</li>\n<li>Report any injuries, strains or illnesses you suffer as a result of doing your job</li>\n</ul>",
