    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary: </span></p>\n<p>EV Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for leading commercial and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with EV Construction’s quality standards. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, a good communicator, organized, possesses leadership qualities, willing to train and assist others, and excited about construction.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, taking full ownership of project execution and outcomes.</li>\n<li>Lead and manage the preconstruction and estimating portion of the project and take complete ownership of budget assembly through contract and closeout.</li>\n<li>Support day-to-day project needs while also facilitating long-term planning and project strategy.</li>\n<li>Coordinate closely with field teams to ensure alignment between project plans and on-site execution.</li>\n<li>Manage all project contract documents, including subcontracts, change orders, and related documentation.</li>\n<li>Facilitate project coordination meetings, develop action items, and drive progress through effective communication and relationship-building.</li>\n<li>Assemble, review, and execute trade partner change orders.</li>\n<li>Maintain strong working relationships with owners, designers, and trade partners.</li>\n<li>Coordinate overall project scheduling and planning in collaboration with field leadership.</li>\n<li>Manage project financials, including trade invoicing, owner pay applications, cost tracking, margin analysis, and cost estimating.</li>\n<li>Identify project risks and proactively develop strategies to mitigate issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications:</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, architectural technology, construction engineering, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architectural technology, engineering, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n<li>Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.</li>\n<li>Estimating or preconstruction experience.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with project scheduling software (MS Project).</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Procore.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Bluebeam and/or Adobe.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, architectural technology, construction engineering, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Spanish language proficiency.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Autodesk.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment:</span></p>\n<p>Work will be executed both indoors and outdoors, varying each day, which will result in exposure to high temperatures, humidity, and cold temperatures. The ground may be uneven or elevated or both. The individual may also be subject to outside environmental conditions (weather) where protection may not be available. This position is often exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as proper footwear, hard hat, safety glasses, and earplugs (if applicable), shall be worn on construction sites at all times unless otherwise specified. The working environment will also occasionally include exposure to contaminants, such as fumes from paints or sealers, and both hazardous equipment and situations. Depending on the project site, work may occur in very bright or very dim lighting conditions. This position often works close to others, typically within a few feet.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands:</span></p>\n<p>This position must be able to access and navigate all areas of a construction site in all types of weather and on uneven and/or elevated surfaces. The individual will need to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly, up to 75 pounds occasionally. Sitting, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods of time will be necessary to perform the requirements of this position. Some motions may be repetitive.
