The Manufacturing Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by expediting the flow of materials between various departments within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production processes, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.This role requires full-time, onsite support at our Chatsworth facility to effectively support shipping and warehouse operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate with production planners, procurement team, and warehouse staff to prioritize and expedite the flow of materials and components needed for production.</li>\n <li>Monitor inventory levels and production schedules to identify potential bottlenecks or delays.</li>\n <li>Expedite urgent orders or critical materials to meet production deadlines.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, production schedules, and material movements.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with production managers and supervisors to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.</li>\n <li>Participate in continuous improvement and team building activities.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards at all times.</li>\n <li>Proficient in use of basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to (non/ powered) screw drivers</li>\n <li>Assemble, modify, and rework production components / sub-assemblies utilizing process documentation (drawings) and Bill of Materials. </li>\n <li>Maintains productive working relationships with all team members. </li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned by manager with minimal supervision. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a role involving material coordination or expediting.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.</li>\n <li>Proficient computer skills, including experience with ERP systems and MS Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in supply chain management or a related field are a plus. Minimum ONE (1) year assembly and expediting experience necessary; Two (2) years’ experience preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>When it's time to unwind and recharge, check out our game room.
