    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Hoffman Construction is seeking a BIM Technician to join the BIM Department. Reporting to the BIM Manager, this role works closely with BIM Coordinators and project-level management teams to produce day-to-day construction models and related content for use by project stakeholders.</p><p><strong>This is a hybrid position, split between the project site and the office.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary Range: $85,000-$120,000 DOE&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Receive, process, and archive model files from designers, project team members, and trade subcontractors.</li><li>Compile and publish federated models using Navisworks Manage.</li><li>Maintain and manage model-building automation tools.</li><li>Facilitate 3D model exchange and coordination with consultants, contractors, and fabricators.</li><li>Support cross-functional technology collaboration across the project team, including clients, design staff, builders, consultants, and subcontractors. Maintain model libraries throughout the project lifecycle and create archive record models at completion.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>Professional Experience and Education:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Two to four (2-4) years’ experience in architectural, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry.</li><li>Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is preferred.</li><li>High School diploma or GED required.</li><li>Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related industry preferred.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Related Skills</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\"><i>Technical Skills</i></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams), with a working understanding of computer network environments.</li><li>Proficient in batch file scripting, Python, Dynamo, and BIM Flow (iConstruct).</li><li>Proficient in project management software (Prolog, Procore, E-Builder) and Bluebeam.</li><li>Intermediate proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks Manage, including Clash Detection, Quantification, and Timeliner tools.</li><li>Experience administering and organizing Autodesk Forma (formerly known as ACC) and other file-sharing platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with the CSI specification system and experience organizing technical data with precision and consistency.</li><li>Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM), AutoCAD, and Navisworks preferred.</li><li>Experience with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methods and digital fabrication preferred.</li><li><p>Training in design document reading, specifications, survey theory, and field techniques.</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\"><i>Professional Skills</i></p></li><li>Highly developed visual observation and spatial interpretation skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate and present design and construction concepts clearly to diverse audiences.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.</li><li>Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic, frequently interrupted work environment.</li><li>Ability to maintain a cooperative, professional attitude under pressure and when working alongside trade and craft personnel in the field.</li><li>Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and at all levels of leadership.</li><li><p>Flexibility to work extended hours or off-shift schedules to accommodate changing construction sequences.</p><p><strong>Physical and Mental Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Environment &amp; Mobility</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Must work in both office and active construction site environments, spending more than 50% of time stationary.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Must access all site areas and levels, including climbing stairs, ascending/descending ladders, and entering confined or underground spaces.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Must work outdoors in varying weather conditions.</p></li></ul></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Strength &amp; Dexterity</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\">Must lift or manipulate up to 50 lbs to a height of three feet and carry or push it 50–100 feet.
