    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><strong>Basic Job Functions:&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span>The Production Technician I is an intermediate level position in the middle submodule to finishing end of the manufacturing process. The core function is to safely operate specific equipment, manage material and processes to manufacture high-quality, photovoltaic solar modules at the required rate. Additionally, Technician I’s will be responsible for conducting operational preventative maintenance procedures, addressing intermediate-level alarms, performing basic quality control procedures, and interface with equipment and factory computer systems.</span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><strong>Education and Experience:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>External candidates must have:</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>High School Diploma or GED.</span>\n    <ul>\n     <li><span>Preference for Associate degree or certificate in a technical discipline.</span></li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li><span>&nbsp;1+ Year of Manufacturing experience.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Experiences that will be considered as a substitute for direct manufacturing experience:</span>\n    <ul>\n     <li><span>Warehousing, textile, agriculture, or material inspection.</span></li>\n     <li><span>Honorable military experience in an electrical, mechanical and/or chemical industrial application.</span></li>\n    </ul></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><span>Internal candidates must have:</span></li>\n <li><span>High School Diploma or GED.</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Achieved 60 credits of internal manufacturing-related training.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Endorsement from direct supervisor for a promotion.</span></li>\n   <li><span>A positive rating from direct supervisor related to Safety, Performance, Dependability and Collaboration.</span></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><strong>Required Skills/Competencies:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Safety First mindset.</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain a high standard of quality.</span></li>\n <li><span>Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</span></li>\n <li><span>Basic Math skills appropriate to understand typical manufacturing production metrics.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to work in a team environment.</span></li>\n <li><span>Good written and oral communication skills.</span></li>\n <li><span>Fundamental knowledge to work with different computer applications.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Interface with Machine Control Panels.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to use mobile systems, communication devices, and simple tool interfaces.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to use simple hand tools and measurement tools.</span></li>\n <li><span>Perform light mechanical maintenance activities utilizing hand tools and measurement devices.</span></li>\n <li><span><i>Work in a large area of manufacturing space, often without line-of-sight of direct supervision.</i></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><span><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Adheres to all safety procedures and practice good housekeeping.</span></li>\n <li><span>Safely operates and maintains tools and equipment to meet acceptable quality and productivity levels.</span></li>\n <li><span>Completes training in the required timeframe.</span></li>\n <li><span>Provides on-the-job training to team members when requested.</span></li>\n <li><span>Performs assigned job duties in accordance with training and direction provided by team leads and supervisor.</span></li>\n <li><span><i>Performs maintenance on equipment, in the required time, with hand tools and instrumentation.</i></span></li>\n <li><span>Interfaces with equipment computers to monitor parameters and alarms.</span></li>\n <li><span>Monitors process data &amp;
