    "description_html": "<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><h3><br></h3><p>EnterSource is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Aerial Lineman to join our Fiber Optic Construction team. This position plays a key role in building and maintaining aerial fiber networks that deliver high-speed broadband services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in aerial construction, pole work, fiber installation, and splicing, with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.</p><h3><br></h3><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair aerial fiber optic cable and related hardware on poles and in the field.</li><li>Perform fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure signal integrity and network reliability.</li><li>String and lash fiber optic cable using appropriate tools and techniques.</li><li>Climb utility poles safely using hooks, ladders, or bucket trucks as required.</li><li>Read and interpret construction prints, maps, and work orders.</li><li>Set and anchor poles, transfer lines, and install strand and hardware.</li><li>Assist with cable labeling, network documentation, and quality control.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company, OSHA, and local safety standards at all times.</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers.</li><li>Operate construction equipment such as bucket trucks, tensioners, and stranders.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.</li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><p><br></p><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED.</li><li>1+ years of experience in aerial telecommunications or electrical line work.</li><li>Ability to climb poles and work at heights up to 50 feet.</li><li>Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).</li><li>Working knowledge of fiber optic and coaxial cable systems.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.</li><li>Commitment to safety and teamwork.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>fiber splicing</strong>, OTDR testing, and light source/power meter usage.</li><li>Familiarity with NESC and OSHA standards.</li><li>Previous experience in fiber optic network construction or ISP/OSP environments.</li><li>Bucket truck operation certification or training.</li></ul><h3><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.</li><li>Work in all weather conditions and varied terrain.</li><li>Standing, climbing, bending, and working at heights for extended periods.</li></ul><p><em>Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment screen, including a drug test and an acceptable driving record.</em></p><p><em>Equal Employment Opportunity: We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer and celebrate our employees' differences, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or Veteran status.
