We are committed to offering a fair and attractive package tailored to each applicant's qualifications.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure molding machines and supporting systems are set to correct parameters and meeting production goals</li>\n<li>Demonstrate troubleshooting skills to identify process, material, or tool-related issues and make appropriate recommendations</li>\n<li>Review and inspect machines often to identify maintenance issues and work with Maintenance team on resolution</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with Assembly, Engineering and Quality Assurance in the implementation and sustaining of Pneu Dart, Inc. company policies. This includes compliance with process sheets / programs, mold validation, scientific molding, and quality procedures while meeting deadlines.</li>\n<li>Evaluating mold and tooling requirements, as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Accountabilities:</span> <br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn products, manufacturing processes, service policies, and the research/science behind PDI’s products. Specifically learning RDD and RDD-Projector design and assembly will be of primary importance.</li>\n<li>Schedule and conduct routine changeovers for the various molds, as required by inventory needs and Kanban status</li>\n<li>Work closely with existing Team Members to help create and/or finalize mold designs</li>\n<li>Assessing the outcomes of activities and continually recommending improvements</li>\n<li>Precise quality measurement of parts to satisfy established Quality Control requirements          </li>\n<li>Follow all cleanup and housekeeping procedures</li>\n<li>Comply with all safety, quality and work rules and regulation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</span><br>Demonstrated success and knowledge in the following areas:<br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>General mechanical aptitude including equipment changeovers and mold maintenance</li>\n<li>Quality Control methods and tools</li>\n<li>RCA-Root Cause Analysis</li>\n<li>Continuous Improvement/Lean Assessment</li>\n<li>Microsoft Office applications</li>\n<li>Operation of hoists/lifts to safely manage mold and equipment</li>\n<li>Ability to manually lift 50 lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Experience:</span><br>Associate degree in plastics-related field, or 1-2 years’ work experience within injection molding operations; experience running, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipment operation is desirable</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mental and Physical Requirements:</span><br>To carry out the responsibilities of this position, the following mental and physical requirements are<br>necessary:<br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Critical thinking skills, a desire to improve processes, and the ability to take ownership of activities</li>\n<li>Able to anticipate and communicate discrepancies to ensure proper utilization of press time for assigned projects</li>\n<li>Physical activities from mold setups including, but not limited to, cleaning responsibilities</li>\n<li>Extended shifts or after-hours support may be needed to complete critical goals.</li>\n<li>Sitting, Standing, Walking, Speaking, Writing, and Use of computer.</li>\n<li>Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.</li>\n</ul>",
