Deer Park Food Store has the ideal opportunity for you!</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">We’re actively seeking a temporary Food Manager to become part of our dynamic team at our Deer Park Food Store located in Red Deer.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>Position:</strong> Food Manager</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>Term:&nbsp;</strong>Temporary position until approximately July 16, 2027 (maternity leave coverage)</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>Full-time:&nbsp;</strong>40 hours per week</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>Availability:&nbsp;</strong>Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">As the Food Manager, you are reporting to the Division Manager and will be responsible for the organization, direction, and coordination of the Deer Park Food Store to achieve budgeted goals.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Prepare, administer and be responsible for sales, margin, expenses, inventory and SPEH of all the food stores,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Ensure food managers adhere to established standards, including safe food handling &amp; sanitation, merchandising, signage, staff appearance housekeeping, health and safety and loss prevention,&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Assist and lead in marketing efforts, set advertising standards and create innovative marketing plans,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Asses the food division performance, solving customers issues and allocating resources,&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Ensure proper appearance of all facilities, equipment, and image checklist,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Assist and lead in the preparation of annual business plans and budget and ensure all paperwork is done timely, accurately and meets policies and procedures,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Keep familiar and up to date with current and new products on the market,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Other duties as required by the Division Manager.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">3-5 year of management experience,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Business related education would be an asset,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Coaching and training skills,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Great attention to detail,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Excellent leadership skills,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Strong interpersonal and communication skills,</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><span><strong>Total Rewards:</strong></span></p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><span>At Central Alberta Co-op, we value our team members and are committed to their well-being and success.
