The company offers a wide range of services, including production operations, mechanical and electrical work, crane operations, marine rigging, dispatching, and maintenance. Its headquarters are in Lockport, LA, and it operates across North America. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary</span>:</p>\n<p>The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and execution of large horsepower turbine- and motor-driven centrifugal compressor station projects. This role manages project scope, schedules, budgets, engineering deliverables, and vendor evaluations while ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. The engineer provides technical support during design, construction, and commissioning, mentors junior engineers, and helps deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective facility projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Specific Accountabilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Mechanical Engineer must have experience in the design of large horsepower (10,000 to 30,000 HP) turbine and electrical motor driven centrifugal compressor stations, and experience in industrial systems.</li>\n<li>Oversees the development of the project scope, schedule, capital cost estimate, execution planning, risks and supporting information related to assigned facility projects.</li>\n<li>Ensures that all facilities are designed in accordance with all regulations, applicable industry codes and corporate standards</li>\n<li>Manages the execution of the design deliverables by a third-party engineering firm against the project budget and schedule</li>\n<li>Reviews and approves design deliverables for example drawings, technical reports and material listing sheets</li>\n<li>Reviews vendor materials quotations, prepares technical evaluations, and recommends to the supervisor selections based on technical merit along with price and delivery.  For example, turbine/compressor packages, equipment vessels, buildings, pipe, valves and fittings</li>\n<li>Provide technical support during the construction phase and the commissioning phase of the project.</li>\n<li>Reviews lessons learned from past projects and incorporates recommendations into future designs</li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance to junior engineers within the team or others based upon technical expertise</li>\n<li>Support and/or lead department initiatives as required</li>\n<li>Ensures that development project scope definitions comply with all regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements through effective management and coordination of internal functional groups</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Scope/Dimension</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the successful operations of the assigned area with significant corporate financial impact.</li>\n<li>Oversee the development and/or implementation of technical solutions, ensuring efficient coordination of technical resources and with other internal and external stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Provides informal leadership to peers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSME Engineering degree</li>\n<li>7 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering and project management</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>PE designation</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate and manage change.</li>\n<li>Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks accordingly</li>\n<li>Ability to resolve complex issues based on depth and breadth of technical and business knowledge</li>\n<li>Awareness of interrelationships with other stakeholders both internal and external to the project team</li>\n<li>Effectively communicate technical issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>80% Office environment working with multiple project teams</li>\n<li>20% of time is in the field scoping projects or supporting construction and commissioning activities</li>\n<li>Stress levels can be above normal as project work is deadline oriented, highly visible and numerous activities are conducted concurrently</li>\n<li>Overnight business trips to the field may be required, usually requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits Offered:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k) matching</li>\n<li>Dental insurance</li>\n<li>Health insurance</li>\n<li>Life insurance</li>\n<li>Vision insurance</li>\n<li>Disability insurance</li>\n<li>Vacation pay for eligible employees</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Please be advised</span>, If selected, you will join Pioneer Production Services, Inc. as your employer and work at Enbridge facilities, partnering daily with Enbridge and contract team members.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">**Equal Opportunity Employer</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
