Overview The Memorial Health Administrative Fellowship is a 12-month postgraduate leadership development program designed to provide emerging healthcare leaders with unparalleled exposure to executive decision-making, strategic operations, and health system leadership. Working closely with the President and Chief Executive Officer, senior executives, and leaders across the organization, the Fellow serves as a trusted contributor on high-priority initiatives that shape the future of Memorial Health. Through project-based work spanning hospital operations, strategy, finance, physician partnerships, workforce development, and organizational transformation, the Fellow gains enterprise-wide experience while leading meaningful projects with measurable impact. This immersive experience offers direct access to executive leadership, broad visibility across the health system, and the opportunity to influence decisions that affect patients, caregivers, and communities throughout Memorial Health. Information Seeking: Underlying curiosity and desire to know more about things, people, and issues, including the desire for knowledge and staying current with health, organizational, industry, and professional trends and developments; the ability to scan for potential opportunities or information that may be of future use. Initiative: Ability to identify a problem, obstacle or opportunity and then take action in light of identification to address current or future problems or opportunities. Project Management: Ability to plan, execute and oversee a multi-year project involving significant resources, scope and impact to meet unique goals and objectives. Responsibilities Partner with the President and Chief Executive Officer, System Leadership Team, and other senior leaders to support strategic, operational, and organizational initiatives across Memorial Health. Lead and contribute to high-priority projects aligned with the health system's strategic objectives through research, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support executive decision-making, operational improvement, business planning, and the evaluation of new opportunities. Develop recommendations, presentations, reports, and executive briefing materials for senior leadership, governing boards, and organizational committees. Participate in strategic planning, operational leadership, resource management, and policy development activities across the health system. Attend and actively participate in executive leadership meetings, operational forums, board meetings, medical staff meetings, and other leadership committees to gain broad exposure to health system governance and decision-making. Collaborate with leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams throughout the organization to advance strategic priorities, improve organizational performance, and support change initiatives. Apply project management principles to ensure initiatives remain on schedule, stakeholders remain informed, and project objectives are achieved. Assist in the implementation and evaluation of organizational initiatives by monitoring outcomes, gathering feedback, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Handle sensitive strategic, financial, operational, and personnel information with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with leaders, physicians, caregivers, and external partners to support organizational goals and foster collaboration. Pursue professional development opportunities through participation in professional organizations, educational programs, conferences, and other learning activities. Perform other duties and special assignments as requested.
