          "text": "<p>CEDA is looking to hire Construction Manager for our Fort McMurray, AB location. CEDA&#xa0;will be working with one of their clients to reassemble their entire dredge, as well as assemble a marina and an electrical barge on site.</p><p>The Construction Manager is responsible for the oversight and safe execution of a Dredging Project.</p><p><strong>***We are proactively building a candidate pool for a potential upcoming project. Recruitment activity will progress based on project confirmation***</strong></p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Shift:</strong>&#xa0;14/7 rotation, 12-hour days</li><li>Accommodation provided</li><li><strong>Overtime Eligible</strong></li><li>Direct flights to client&#xa0;site via from Edmonton or Calgary</li><li>A supportive team culture where&#xa0;<strong>safety, integrity, and accountability</strong>&#xa0;are at the core of everything we do</li></ul><p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensuring adherence to CEDA and Occupational Health and Safety standards</li><li>Ensuring adherence with CEDA and Client quality standards</li><li>Assist service contractors in the development of budgets</li><li>Assist Project Management in the development of work scheduled, project budgets, monitor measure, check and correct</li><li>Assist Project Management in the identification and development of change orders</li><li>Review and authorize LEMs</li><li>Coordinate and manage work activities of multiple contractors, monitor measure, check and correct</li><li>Collaborating with a CEDA Engineering, Project Management, Operations and Client groups to help resolve work issues as required</li><li>Coordinating inspection of dredging and other activities with outside agencies</li><li>Coordinate HAZOP Meetings, Daily Pre construction kickoff meetings</li><li>Responsible for quality of workmanship and adherence to specification on supervised work.</li><li>Conduct daily safety meetings</li><li>Daily project reporting</li><li>Other duties as required</li></ul><p><strong>Role Specifications</strong></p><ul><li>5 to 7 years managing large scale construction or turnaround projects</li><li>Trade certification (pipefitter or welder or electrical or steel erector) or Technical Diploma or Engineering Degree</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Experienced in the Microsoft Office (Word , Excel, Outlook, Project)</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong&#xa0; interpersonal skills</li></ul>",
