    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>Barge Topside Technician</p><p>Full Time Topside Technician</p><p>Marrero, LA, US</p><p><br></p><p>Rio Marine is expanding in the locations listed below. &nbsp;Rio has a family type of environment where all members work together as a team to assist each other, grow the company, and support the challenges that lay ahead of us together. &nbsp;We have worked hard to build a team of good people. &nbsp;We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality parts, service, solutions, support, and engineering. &nbsp;Rio is looking for long term team members who want to be an integral part of our growing business where each member has a direct contribution on the direction we take as a company.</p><p>New Orleans, LA</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintenance and repair of barge equipment.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Working alongside of a customer representative daily.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform preventative maintenance to avoid operational failures.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Greasing all parts and components of the barge.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Chipping and painting rusty areas of the barge. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Reporting directly to the job sight in the morning.</p><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;High School diploma or equivalent.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to work in any and all adverse weather conditions.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to climb ladders, stairs and gangways up to 25 feet in height.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of time.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to operate Rio Marine vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Valid TWIC card and driver&rsquo;s license.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience working on or around tugboats and barges.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Clean Driving Record are required to be eligible for hire.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must be willing to work odd hours in a non - climate control and onboard barges, tugboats, and offshore supply vessel, 24-7-365</p><p><br></p><p>Full Compensation Package Available to include:</p><p>-Competitive Salary&nbsp;</p><p>-Medical, Dental&nbsp;</p><p>- company truck&nbsp;</p><p>-401K, Paid Holiday</p><p><br></p></div>\n",
