Job Title: Systems Engineer II Position Number: SYS E II 001 Location: Washington D.C. Worksite: Washington Naval Yard Status: Full-Time Contingent Upon Award Clearance: Secret Date Added: December 1, 2025 Job Summary: Applies systems engineering processes to the design, integration, test, and fielding of PMS 408 systems including CREW jammers, UWEOD unmanned vehicles, JEOD tools, ATA shipboard protection systems, and ExMed biomedical suites. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop requirements traceability, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and system specifications Support all technical reviews (System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), etc.) and verification & validation activities Perform trade studies, risk management, and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) Ensure Risk Management Framework (RMF)/National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 cybersecurity compliance and NAVSEA Technical Authority standards Provide engineering support for rapid prototyping and urgent operational needs Participate as a non-voting member in technical IPTs and review boards Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline. Experience: 3 years' of professional experience with systems engineering. Specialized Experience: None specified. Certifications: None specified. Security Clearance: Secret clearance required.
