A thorough knowledge of general accounting procedures, reporting and expense analysis, and journal posting is required. &nbsp;Candidates for this position should have strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Duties to include (but not limited to):</strong></p><ul><li><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Responsible for management reporting, dashboards, budget and forecast templates</li><li>Prepare profit and loss models, balance sheets, cash flow statements and other management reports</li><li>Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist with external reporting and disclosure requirements</li><li>Customer contract review and documentation of revenue recognition accounting</li><li>Assist with month-end close and general accounting functions</li><li>Maintaining confidential financial information</li><li>Participates in annual audits, special projects and other assigned duties as required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis</li><li>Specific IFRS 15 knowledge</li><li>ERP implementation experience an asset</li><li>Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>&nbsp;</strong>CPA designation</li><li>5+ years or relevant experience</li><li>IFRS accounting</li><li>ERP and FP&amp;A software experience, specifically Oracle and Planful</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Vecima (TSX: VCM)</strong> is a global leader focused on developing integrated hardware and scalable software solutions for broadband access, content delivery and telematics.
