Your success is our success, and we're committed to fostering a collaborative and family-valued culture, where your contributions are valued and appreciated.</p>\n<h2>Basic Duties</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Showcase your technical expertise by effectively troubleshooting and repairing Power Systems equipment, completing service reports, PM checklists, and timecards within department guidelines.</li>\n <li>Utilize your knowledge of SIS, ET, parts, and service manuals to efficiently handle service tasks.</li>\n <li>Take ownership of jobs, properly segment tasks, and order parts as needed for seamless project execution.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate your commitment to customer satisfaction by communicating job status effectively to clients and office personnel.</li>\n <li>Conduct complete visual inspections and testing of Cat and non-Cat engine and generator sets, noting deficiencies as part of preventive maintenance service.</li>\n <li>Perform thorough preventive maintenance and testing on Cat and non-Cat engine and generator sets, ensuring optimal equipment performance and reliability. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>You should have a minimum of four years of experience in electric power generator maintenance and repair.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate your ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of efficiency and cleanliness.</li>\n <li>Good decision-making skills and the ability to follow directions are essential to excel in this role.</li>\n <li>Represent Altorfer's professional image with your effective communication skills and strong work ethic.</li>\n <li>Show your organizational prowess by writing technical reports and using resources for information when needed.</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of Office software, preferably MS Word, Excel, and email, is expected.</li>\n <li>Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to be considered for this position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Altorfer Industries offers an industry leading compensation and fully funded union benefits:</strong>          </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Employer funded Union Healthcare & Union pension</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>2 paid personal days</li>\n <li>Paid Funeral Leave</li>\n <li>Vacation: 1 week (40 hours) of vacation after 1 year of full-time employment</li>\n <li>Education Assistance</li>\n <li>Tool Insurance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Payrate: $51.31 - $55.77 per hour</p>\n<h2>Posted Min</h2>USD $51.31/Hr.\n<h2>Posted Max</h2>USD $55.77/Hr.\n<h2>Physical Requirements/Working Conditions</h2>\n<p><strong>Why Work for Altorfer?</strong></p>\n<p>As a third-generation, family-owned company, Altorfer places a premium on our people.
