In the role of Director of Manufacturing Quality, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team of quality engineers dedicated to driving excellence in semiconductor manufacturing. Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing quality strategy aligned with operational goals. Lead and mentor quality engineering teams focused on assembly, testing, and end-to-end manufacturing operations. Integrate quality leadership into daily manufacturing processes and decision-making. Establish and enhance site quality procedures and ensure alignment with corporate Quality Management System (QMS). Manage compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and TL 9000 standards. Oversee the manufacturing change control process and ensure adherence to Telcordia requalification requirements. Act as the primary manufacturing quality interface for customers and manage audit processes. Foster a culture of quality that emphasizes data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement among teams.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; advanced degree preferred 12+ years of experience in semiconductor or microelectronics manufacturing quality, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards Experience leading certification audits and customer engagements Expertise in statistical process control (SPC) and yield improvement techniques Nice-To-Have:
Experience with optoelectronics, photonics, or fiberoptic communication products Background supporting telecom and datacenter infrastructure customers Familiarity with TL 9000 requirements and reporting metrics Knowledge of reliability engineering and failure analysis methodologies Experience managing and developing quality engineering teams
