Overall, we deliver highly dependable solutions that always have high accuracy and robust timing at their core.</p>\n<p><br>The Position: DSP Engineer for communication</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What you will be doing:</p>\n<p>As a DSP Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and developing digital signal processing algorithms for wireless communication systems, with a focus on applications requiring high-precision timing and synchronization. You will work on the development of digital signal processing algorithms and simulate them using Python, to support a range of applications including timing and synchronization, wireless communication systems, and other related fields.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Main Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Definition of DSP algorithms for wireless communications</li>\n<li>General knowledge of Software Defined Radios (SDRs) and FPGAs architectures</li>\n<li>Simulation of DSP algorithms in Python</li>\n<li>Knowledge of different modulation schemes such as OOK, BPSK, QPSK, QAM, Spread Spectrum, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<p>Must:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong background in digital signal processing (DSP) and wireless communication systems</li>\n<li>Excellent programming skills in Python</li>\n<li>Knowledge of SDRs and FPGAs architectures</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Plus:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with communication systems in high-Doppler environments (e.g. airborne, maritime, or high-speed terrestrial communications)</li>\n<li>Knowledge of coherent receiver architectures and signal processing techniques</li>\n<li>Experience with FPGA development using tools such as VHDL, Verilog, or HLS (High-Level Synthesis)</li>\n<li>Knowledge of timing and synchronization technologies (e.g. IEEE 1588, GPSDO)</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and their signal processing aspects</li>\n<li>Programming skills in C or C++ for prototyping and development</li>\n<li>Experience with Linux operating system.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Safran is an equal opportunity employer who does not discriminate based on race, color, citizenship, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran’s status or any protected category.
