This is a good fit for someone early in their career who enjoys working with structured technical information, improving how systems and processes work together, and building deeper expertise in engineering systems.<br><br><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Support the day-to-day administration and configuration of PLM and CAD systems.</li><li>Maintain CAD libraries, standard parts, templates, and item lifecycles.</li><li>Assist with revision control, engineering changes, and BOM management.</li><li>Contribute to system enhancements, upgrades, and testing activities.</li><li>Develop and maintain high quality documentation for workflows and best practices.</li><li>Troubleshoot data or workflow issues in collaboration with team members.</li><li>Gather feedback from team members and suggest improvements to systems or processes.</li></ul><p><strong>You will be a great fit if you have:</strong></p><ul><li>1–3 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, or a related technical role.</li><li>A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science, or a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Computer Science.</li><li>Experience working with revision-controlled engineering drawings and BOMs.</li><li>Hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD Plant 3D.</li><li>Exposure to PDM or PLM systems (e.g., Aras PLM).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills.</li><li>Clear written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Bonus points if you have experience with:</strong></p><ul><li>Reading and working with P&ID drawings.</li><li>ERP systems (e.g., Syspro).</li><li>Project management tools (e.g., Wrike).</li><li>Heavy industry, piping, or structural steel environments.</li><li>Scripting or automation experience (SQL, VBA, C#, Python).</li></ul><p><strong>Why join Saltworks?</strong></p><p>At Saltworks, you'll collaborate with talented colleagues to solve complex, real-world problems – designing and delivering innovative water treatment and lithium refining systems for some of the world's most recognized companies.
