font-weight: bold\">Purpose of Role</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">This will involve the day-to-day management of all environmental related activities compliance along with a series of environmental and sustainability-based projects.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Role Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Conduct environmental inspections and audits across project sites to monitor compliance with environmental legislation, company procedures, and project-specific requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide practical environmental advice and support to project teams, assisting in the implementation of environmental controls and best practices.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Compile, review, and update <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Environmental Management Plans (EMPs)</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Waste Management Plans (WMPs)</span> in line with project requirements and regulatory obligations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Monitor environmental performance on projects, identifying risks, non-conformances, and opportunities for continual improvement.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Support site teams in achieving compliance with planning conditions, licences, permits, and client environmental requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Undertake inspections relating to waste segregation, pollution prevention, water management, spill response, dust, noise, and biodiversity protection measures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Assist in incident investigations, including environmental near misses, spills, and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Deliver environmental awareness and toolbox talks / Workshops to site personnel and contractors to promote good environmental practices.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Liaise with project stakeholders, subcontractors, regulators, and clients on environmental matters as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain accurate environmental records, audit findings, inspection reports, waste documentation, and compliance trackers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Support sustainability and waste reduction initiatives, promoting resource efficiency and environmental best practices across projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Assist in the preparation of reports, KPIs, and environmental performance data for internal and external reporting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ensuring compliance to regulatory licencing requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Directing site activities towards achieving energy, carbon, water, and waste reduction targets, through measuring, analysis, and reporting programmes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Capture, analysis and reporting of all relevant data relating to effluent, energy, water, waste, and sustainability.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Work with cross-functional teams to maintain environmental management and monitoring programmes;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Assist with the maintenance of ISO14001 Environmental Management System on site;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Complete site energy/environmental audits to identify opportunities for improvement and improve sites resilience to climate change.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Develop learning opportunities and training plans for staff and manage delivery of environmental weeks on site.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Liaise with the group environmental team on upcoming sustainability projects and strategies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Develop and maintain company Environmental &amp; Sustainability standards, policies, systems and programs applicable to our projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Drive and lead site Environmental &amp; Sustainability functions to align with corporate goals and develop programs and continuous improvement efforts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide Enviromental leadership and direction for management, professional, technical and support staff across the site</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ensure systems are in place to enable site to operate in legal and ethical compliance with regard to EHS issues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Promote employee awareness / training on matters of environment, health and safety</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Other duties as assigned by senior management</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">The Candidate</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Third level qualification in EHS or a related discipline.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">3+ years’ experience working on large scale commercial/construction projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Conscientious, highly focused and detail orientated.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Self-starter and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Full clean driver’s license preferable.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Excellent communication skills.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
