    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\"><strong><u>Job Overview</u></strong></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">AFW is looking for a Groundskeeper who will be able to provide professional landscaping services for our entire facility. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for performing ongoing landscaping tasks, as well as routine maintenance of all landscaping equipment.&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and the outside appearance of the facility. If you have experience in landscaping and a strong attention to detail, then AFW is looking for you.</span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\"><strong><u>Job Responsibilities &amp; Duties</u></strong></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\"><i>Typical duties include but are not limited to:</i></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Commitment to AFW’s safety policies and procedures and ability to promote awareness.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Mow the lawns, prune the bushes and trees, edge the walkways and give the grounds a manicured look.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on the lawn care equipment and tools.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Take on special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary by the AFW management team.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Collaborate with the maintenance team to make sure the grounds and the building are properly cared and clean up to AFW standards.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Plant and care for shrubs, trees, plants, and flowers.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Sprays for weeds and insects using chemicals approved by AFW.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Report all acts of vandalism, destruction of property and suspicious behavior to management.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Report all property issues and potential liabilities along with recommendations for solving such issues to the AFW management team.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Pick up litter, rake and bag leaves, etc.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Repairs fences, gates, walls, and irrigation systems, using carpentry, masonry and painting tools.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">May operate trucks and assorted power equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.<span>&nbsp;</span></span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Maintain a neat and safe work environment.<span>&nbsp;</span></span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">All training provided by AFW</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Other duties to be assigned/directed by supervisor.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: black;\"><i><strong>This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.</strong></i></span></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\"><strong><u>Job Requirements</u></strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the ability to safely use personal protective equipment (PPE).</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Knowledge of fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides used in grounds care and gardening.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Experience using power tools, pruning tools, and lawn mowers.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Previous experience as a groundskeeper, gardener, or similar role.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;\">Able to have a flexible schedule and work all shifts, holidays, and weekends.</span></p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;
