    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a <strong>Registered Nurse (RN)</strong> to work within our <strong>Ambultory Care Center</strong> at the Dumfries Health Center in Dumfries, VA. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a full-time opportunity Monday – Friday and occasional Saturdays. We provide out-patient clinic services to enlisted and retired military personnel in association with Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Outpatient environment & updated facilities</li>\n <li>Schedule - 40 hours weekly - Monday-Friday (8 hour shifts) between 7am-8pm. Bi-weekly Saturday schedule from 6am-2pm.</li>\n <li>Safe & secure environment</li>\n <li>Compliant and appreciative patient population</li>\n <li>Employee status  </li>\n <li>Opportunity to give back & care for our Nation's military and dependents</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Patient assessment, triage, and monitoring</li>\n <li>Execution of physicians' orders within the guidelines of standard nursing practice</li>\n <li>Provide treatment and discharge instructions upon patient release</li>\n <li>Documentation of patient care and observations</li>\n <li>Patient education and emotional support</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>include bi-weekly Saturday Shifts:  6am to 2pm</li>\n <li>Triage experience preferred</li>\n <li>Must be a US citizen </li>\n <li>Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.</li>\n <li>RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact</li>\n <li>At least 2-years’ experience as a Primary Care RN</li>\n <li>Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service skills.</li>\n <li>An understanding of medical and clinic settings.</li>\n <li>Shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Please contact:</strong></p>\n<p>Amanda Gbenro, Recruiter</p>\n<p>[email protected]</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About Prince William County, Virginia:</strong></p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Located just over 30 miles southwest of Washington D.C., Prince William County offers a vibrant and sought-after community enriched with natural beauty and historical significance.
