Qualifications and Requirements : As a Veterinary Technician Professional you already have a pretty good idea as to the day-to-day requirements of being a talented Veterinary Technician. Here are some of the key skills that we are seeking that are relevant to this opportunity: RVT or equivalent certification 1+ years of experience working as a Vet Technician Proficiency with surgery, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging and dentistry Venipuncture and IV Catheter Placement Vaccine and Preventative knowledge Medication dispensing and administering Collection and analysis of lab samples Efficiency and time management skills, as well as the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment while keeping a keen attention to detail Core Responsibilities: The primary purpose and function of the Veterinary Technician is to support Veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care, advocating for pets and educating clients.
