          "text": "<p><strong>Timmons Group</strong> is currently seeking an experienced&#xa0;<strong>Land Development Project Manager</strong>&#xa0;to join our growing team in <strong>Virginia Beach, VA</strong>. If you’re passionate about civil engineering, client success, and mentoring future talent, we want to hear from you. As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of exciting land development projects from concept through construction.</p><p>We assist our clients with zoning entitlements, civil site plan approvals, and construction administration support.&#xa0; Our project engineers will typically work in a team of 2-3 design engineers and a project manager to bring our client’s vision to life.&#xa0; The complexity and fast paced nature of our client’s needs creates a dynamic environment for our team members and fosters a culture of teamwork, diverse training opportunities, and builds a sense of ownership in the successful outcome of the project.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </strong>of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Designing project components using Civil 3D and other industry-standard tools.</li><li>Performing engineering calculations and solving real-world challenges.</li><li>Preparing technical specifications and construction documents.</li><li>Developing cost estimates and managing project budgets.</li><li>Collaborating with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure project success.</li><li>Leading and mentoring junior engineers and technical staff.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills/Requirements </strong>of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).</li><li>Active&#xa0;<strong>P.E. license in Virginia</strong>, and/or one or more states in which Timmons Group conducts business&#xa0;(or ability to obtain).</li><li><strong>6–10 years</strong>&#xa0;of civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules simultaneously.</li><li>Strong client relationship and business development skills.</li><li>Proficiency in&#xa0;<strong>Civil 3D</strong>&#xa0;and other relevant design software.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong>&#xa0;Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $90,000-$140,000. Offers are based on a range of job-related factors such as internal equity, experience, skills, education, credentials and role complexity.</p>",
