Position Summary
Conducts developmental assessments, develops individualized program plans, and provides Occupational Therapy for infants and toddlers within the context of established Early Intervention practices such as Routines-Based and Home-Based Coaching interventions.
Reports to the Associate Director of Early Intervention.
Key Responsibilities
Support the achievement of children and family outcomes through evidence-based Early Intervention practices.
Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team in assessing the development of children across all developmental domains.
Conduct assessments, identify strengths and needs, and make recommendations for Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) outcomes and interventions.
Establish rapport and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with children, families, and team members.
Maintain communication with the Associate Director of Early Intervention and Vice President as needed.
Complete all required documentation accurately and within designated Early Intervention timeframes.
Maintain compliance with all state and county Early Intervention regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as HIPAA requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Pennsylvania.
At least one year of experience working with infants, toddlers, and families in an Early Intervention setting preferred.
Must meet Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearance requirements prior to providing services.
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and properly insured vehicle available for daily use.
