    "requisitionDescription": "\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.7.18/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.7.18/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <p id=\"isPasted\"><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Maintenance Technician </strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p><p>1.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.</p><p>2.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.</p><p>3.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Inspect or test damaged machine marks and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.</p><p>4.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Reassemble machines aft the completion of repair or maintenance work</p><p>5.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes or hoists.</p><p>6.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform routine electrical maintenance and repair.</p><p>7.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Determining causes of operating errors to troubleshoot equipment failures.</p><p>8.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Responsible for building maintenance to include, grounds, roof repair and debris removal.</p><p>9.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>All other duties as assigned</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong><em>Required</em></strong></p><p><br></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance field; 3+ years&rsquo; experience considered in lieu of degree</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Basic Computer Skills</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge of arithmetic and its applications</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and electrical technology. &nbsp;This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Attention to detail and good communication skills.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Preferred</em></strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Prior working experience in a manufacturing environment.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Working conditions</em></strong></p><p>This job operates primarily in a plant environment but also includes work in the office and warehousing areas.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Physical requirements</em></strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, bend, stoop, kneel and twist and lift up to 100 pounds. &nbsp;The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time and use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. &nbsp;Job is in a location in a plant where the temperature can be hot or cold depending on the weather. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p>\n    </div>\n  \n",
