    "description": "<p><span>Hunt Electric is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>High Voltage Electrical Estimator</span></span><span> position in our </span>Salt Lake City office. The qualified candidate will be responsible for all aspects of bidding transmission, distribution and substation work.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> The position requires a high level of electrical construction experience, and customer service to build and maintain relationships. Experience with high voltage electrical background is preferred. </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span> Major Duties:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Bid and prepare cost estimates.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Prepare and oversee preconstruction budgets and scheduling.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Download drawings and bid documents.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Review contract drawings and specifications.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Reach out to vendors for quotes.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Job site visits as required prior to bid.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Create high level project schedule for bid documents.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Prepare bid letters and other documents as required for the bid.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Prepare and present all take-offs, quotes, bid letters and other documents to the electrical division manager for review.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Other duties as assigned.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Minimum Qualifications:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Five plus years of electrical construction, design, finance, and two years’ experience/knowledge of electrical project management experience required.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Electrical Estimating Experience in transmission, distribution, switchyards, and substations.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Must be able to multi-task.  Bid multiple projects at a time.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Accubid / Construct Jobs proficiency, or other bidding software.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc) and Bluebeam</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><br></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Preferred Experience/Qualifications:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Experience managing projects and two years’ experience/knowledge of electrical construction, design, finance, and management required.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Experience with Accubid, MS Projects, and Blue Beam Preferred.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Capable of managing multiple high-revenue projects.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Primavera P6 Scheduling.</span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Qualifications and Skills:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>The ideal candidate will be career-minded, seeking an opportunity to grow professionally and assist in the overall growth of our company.
