We have an in-house Architectural Woodwork &amp; Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We are seeking an experienced project manager at our Ft Lauderdale office</span>. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will do: </span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reading of documents and contracts. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage multiple projects. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Writing subcontracts. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Negotiating and awarding subcontracts. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing/preparing subcontractors scope of work. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend meetings and prepare minutes. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in estimating process. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Review/prepare change orders. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop/track submittals, RFI’s and cost reports. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain owner relations. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will need to be successful: </span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of five (5) + years’ experience in managing multiple retail commercial projects valued at $5 million and up. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have the ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have tilt experience. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Computer Skills Required – Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to create material take-off’s. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Marketing and presentation skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Should be highly organized, highly motivated and a detail directed problem solver. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>College degree in a construction/engineering field preferred, but not required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of south Florida construction market is preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Bi-lingual is a plus. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Rycon Construction, Inc. we believe outstanding employees build the foundation necessary for excellence in business.
