As an Instrument Operator, you'll team up with seasoned surveying experts, aiding in field operations and gaining invaluable knowledge of land surveying basics. Plus, you'll thrive in our supportive, collaborative environment, with ample opportunities for professional advancement and growth. </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Assist in the setup and operation of surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and data collectors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Learn and apply basic surveying techniques under the guidance of experienced surveyors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Perform tasks such as holding survey rods, measuring distances, and recording data accurately.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Follow instructions from the Crew Chief and other senior team members to ensure efficient and accurate surveying operations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maintain survey equipment and assist with equipment transportation to and from job sites.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">No prior experience in land surveying is required - we will provide training and support for the right candidates.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45); font-weight: bold\">This position may require driving a company vehicle. Therefore, a valid driver's license and no infractions for a minimum of 3 years is required to be approved to drive a company vehicle and added to the company insurance policy.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Excellent organizational and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift 75 lbs.
