    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Commodity Strategy &amp; Global Sourcing</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for MRO, capital equipment (CapEx), precision metal machine tooling, and facilities support services supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations.</li><li>Lead RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to optimize cost, lead time, quality, and total cost of ownership.</li><li>Drive supply base optimization, supplier consolidation, and risk mitigation across global manufacturing sites by leading cost reduction initiatives using should-cost analysis, total cost modeling, and value engineering.</li><li>Implement supply chain improvements such as VMI, Kanban, and demand-driven replenishment programs to improve supply continuity and working capital efficiency.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Supplier Relationship &amp; Performance Management</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Build and manage strategic supplier relationships with global suppliers.</li><li>Drive supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, business reviews, audits, and improvement plans to ensure quality, delivery, and capacity alignment with semiconductor manufacturing requirements.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Precision Metal Machine Tooling, MRO, Facilities &amp; Capital Equipment Support</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and facilities teams to identify cost reduction, value engineering, and supplier capability improvements supporting high-mix, low-volume semiconductor equipment manufacturing.</li><li>Manage sourcing for industrial MRO supplies, spare parts, cleanroom consumables, facility maintenance services, and manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Support capital investment initiatives by sourcing manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and facility infrastructure aligned with project schedules and budgets.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Metrics</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Cost savings and cost avoidance</li><li>Supplier quality and on-time delivery</li><li>Lead time reduction and supply continuity</li><li>Supply base optimization and risk mitigation</li><li>CapEx project cost and schedule performance</li><li>Inventory and working capital improvements</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)</li><li>7–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or capital equipment industries</li><li>Experience sourcing precision machining industrial tooling, MRO supplies, or manufacturing equipment</li><li>Strong background in global supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost analysis</li><li>Experience working with ERP and PLM systems (Oracle and Agile preferred)</li><li>Proven ability to influence cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams</li><li>Ability to travel between 10-25%&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>For candidates based in Minnesota, the pay range for this salaried exempt position is $91,900 - $156,200.</p><p>Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
