We’re a small and mighty team of 50 today with offices in NYC, LA, and the UK. What You’ll Do As the first internal Finance hire, you will be both architect and operator: designing our financial systems, processes, team/automation needed to scale from $10M ARR to $100M ARR over the next ~3 years. Reporting to and partnering closely with our CEO and the founders you will lead strategy, future fundraising and diligence, and the accounting execution. You will be rolling up your sleeves in Quickbooks one minute and then next advising the CRO and our BOD the next. Accounting & Compliance Oversee accounting, tax, audit, and compliance (currently using QuickBooks, Bill.com, Brex, etc.) Implement scalable systems and processes for billing, collections, revenue recognition, and financial controls Deliver timely and accurate financial statements and consolidated reporting Continually review accounting policies and procedures to ensure that the company is compliant with GAAP and statutory accounting Create, document and implement internal control process initiatives Manage multi-jurisdiction tax strategy and compliance, including tax planning and reporting. Strategic Finance & FP&A Modeling Build scalable forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes to guide decision-making Partner with GTM, and Product to align resource allocation with company priorities Develop and monitor KPIs and unit economics to track business performance Financial Systems & Business Operations Vendor negotiations on core tech systems Partner with close functional peers on reporting and revenue dashboards Fundraising & Investor Relations Partner with the CEO on capital strategy, future fundraising, and board management. Build financial models and narratives to support investor conversations. Own investor reporting, ensuring clear, consistent communication of metrics What We’re Looking For 7-12 years of progressive experience in finance, ideally high-growth AI or SaaS start ups Prior experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking/PE/VC 5+ years of Finance/Accounting experience, at least 2 years of Audit experience, with time spent in a leadership role Strong command of SaaS metrics (ARR, retention, CAC/LTV, payback, gross margin, etc.) Experience scaling a company through Series A → B → C and beyond Hands-on operator: can manage books today, but also build systems for tomorrow Strong financial modeling, board presentation, and communication skills Collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments Nice to have CPA/CFA/MBA is a plus but not required or investment banking either PE/VC More About Us Our sales tech stack includes QBO, bill.com , Brex, Hubspot, and Omni Pulse We're international, spanning the US, UK, and Canada We’ve raised +$30M to date including our recent $20M Series A - backed by Ridge, Next Coast, ScOp, Bullpen Capital, Data Point and Forum Ventures, as well as founders & executives from Amazon Alexa, Ada, Attentive, and Simon Data Comprehensive healthcare and unlimited vacation, including a mandatory half week for everyone over July 4, and a full week off at the end of the year In office 5 days/week #FlippinLegend Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications. This role is also eligible for equity, in accordance with company policy, and subject to board approval. Compensation Range: $150,000 — $210,000 USD Our customers span the globe, and so do our offices.
