You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, guiding projects through design and construction while ensuring quality, performance, and client satisfaction.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role can be onsite or hybrid out of our Milwaukee or Mequon offices.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Technical Leadership & Design</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the design and implementation of HVAC and/or plumbing systems for complex building projects</li>\n <li>Perform and review advanced engineering calculations, system layouts, and specifications</li>\n <li>Develop construction documents, technical reports, and engineering studies</li>\n <li>Provide technical oversight and QA/QC review of deliverables</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Project Execution</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead planning and execution of complex project components with a high degree of autonomy</li>\n <li>Coordinate across disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient system designs</li>\n <li>Manage scope, schedule, and budget for assigned tasks or project phases</li>\n <li>Identify risks and proactively develop solutions to maintain project performance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Client & Stakeholder Engagement</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a technical leader in client meetings and design discussions</li>\n <li>Communicate complex engineering concepts clearly to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies</li>\n <li>Support proposal development and business development efforts</li>\n <li>Build and maintain strong client relationships</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Construction & Field Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide oversight during construction, including site visits and field investigations</li>\n <li>Resolve complex field issues in real time and support contractors and field staff</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with contract documents and design intent</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Mentorship & Team Development</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor and train junior and mid-level engineers and designers</li>\n <li>Provide technical guidance, coaching, and quality reviews</li>\n <li>Contribute to team development and continuous improvement initiatives</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years of relevant engineering experience (8+ years with a master’s degree)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licensure</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Expertise in HVAC and/or plumbing system design for building projects</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and industry standards</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency in Revit and other engineering modeling tools</li>\n <li>Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills</li>\n <li>Proven ability to lead complex projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, and scheduling</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Why MSA</h3>\n<p>At MSA, our people are our greatest asset.
