SUMMARY The Inbound & Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing all inbound receiving activities and ensuring end‑to‑end inventory accuracy within a fast‑paced 3PL warehouse environment. As a key member of the Operations leadership team, this role ensures inventory integrity from receipt to storage, supports customer commitments, and drives process discipline, continuous improvement, and strong operational controls. This role partners closely with Operations, Quality, IT/WMS, and Customer teams to identify root causes of inventory variances, implement corrective actions, and ensure inbound workflows and inventory controls are executed to standard across shifts. RESPONSIBILITIES Process and input all validated claims and adjustments in Red Prairie (WMS) and Pack Manager. Research inventory discrepancies and provide root cause analysis. Maintain accurate filing system Respond to clients promptly and report feedback to management Liaise between warehouse and customer Develop procedure manual which details the processing requirements for RP. (WMS) and Pack Manager. Investigate and reports variances to management Manage Team of Inventory Coordinators Perform and schedule regular cycle counts Schedule daily empty bin audits Conduct incidental audits of orders and receipts including location audits to preserve the integrity of the Warehouse Management System Coordinate and participate in all scheduled physical inventories on schedules dictated by the customer Assist management with space utilization and availability Process damaged inventory including month end cut off procedures Communicate directly with the customer daily, provide required reports ​ Inbound Operations Lead and manage all inbound receiving activities, including scheduling, unloading, verification, system receipt, and putaway readiness. Ensure inbound receipts are executed accurately and on time in line with customer SLAs and contractual requirements. Partner with Transportation, Planning, and Operations teams to manage dock utilization and inbound capacity. Investigate and resolve inbound discrepancies (shortages, overages, damages, mislabeling) and ensure proper system and customer visibility. Support new customer onboarding by defining inbound processes, requirements, and WMS setup. REQUIREMENTS • Strong analytical, data evaluation, problem-solving, presentation skills. • Ability to translate data analysis into frameworks and action plans and lead execution • You’ll also need time management skills, to help you tackle operational challenges. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and positively influence team behaviours. • Customer-centric, close attention-to-detail, as you Insist on the Highest Standards. • Strong commitment to employee development. • Strong technical and IT skills: you are able to learn our system. • Outstanding Excel skills: you are able to gather data and make quantitative-based solutions • You are able to manage business functions that can require high dedication during peak periods according to business needs. Experience with Blue Yonder or similar Tier 1 WMS platforms. Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement training or certification. EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business preferred. Direct experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
