We are seeking a Quality Final Inspector to join our Corporate Quality team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Final Inspector, you will partner with assemblers, manufacturing technicians, and engineers to uphold Minco’s quality standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring exceptional product quality and a positive customer experience. What you do will have an impact on the company and our customers by living Minco’s <em>icare</em> values -- Integrity, Communication, Accountability, Respect, & Energy.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform standard or recurring inspections such as length, dimension, and size, visual inspection for imperfections and conformance to standards</li>\n <li>Operate fundamental equipment, such as microscope, micrometer, calipers, and gauges to perform inspection and verify conformance to standards</li>\n <li>Perform basic calculations on test results to determine if product is within proper standards</li>\n <li>Complete and review a variety of forms, logs, and reports detailing test results based on operating procedures</li>\n <li>Handle and label tools, materials, and equipment according to safety and operational principles and practices</li>\n <li>Comply with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment, quality products, and efficient operations</li>\n <li>Interact with assemblers, technicians, or other team members to communicate test results, receive guidance, and provide feedback</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED Equivalent</li>\n <li>Experience in manufacturing</li>\n <li>Ability to read, understand, write and speak English at an 8th grade level or higher</li>\n <li>Ability for visual elements, such as color, measurements and shapes</li>\n <li>Ability to pass an eye exam (with or without correction) to meet Minco’s requirements for Near and Color Vision</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One or more years of Inspection experience within a manufacturing environment</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret drawings</li>\n <li>Experience using small tools such as microscopes, micrometers, calipers and pin gauges</li>\n <li>Microsoft office applications experience (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)</li>\n <li>Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently</li>\n <li>IPC 600, 610, or J-Std Certification<strong> </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Professional Skills Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships with employees and management</li>\n <li>Strong experience responding to and resolving questions and concerns</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities</li>\n <li>Attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement</li>\n <li>Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environment</li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal and external customer contact</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This position is a regular full-time position located in our headquarters in Fridley, Minnesota.   <strong>This is a 1st shift position working Monday – Friday.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Pay Range:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Why Minco?</strong> </p>\n<p>At Minco, we offer benefits and services that help balance work life and personal life, a competitive wage and benefits package, opportunities for continuous improvement and personal growth, casual dress code and company celebrations – some of the many reasons that make Minco a great place to work!</p>\n<p> Find out why you would love working at Minco by learning more about our company culture and the rewards of working with us at www.minco.com/careers - then apply! <strong><em>Current Minco employees: </em></strong>please apply via your Employee page on iconnect.
