Located in picturesque Washington, CT the School Clinician position will be part of a cohesive, passionate and dynamic team. The selected candidate will foster Devereux’s mission and values of quality care as well as providing top-notch and individualized therapeutic care for our students.</p>\n<p><strong>Position:</strong></p>\n<p>We are seeking a School Clinician who has experience with the student population and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with learning differences and mental health/behavioral challenges. If this describes you, then look no further!</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p>\n<p>Monday-Friday:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>4 days 9am-5pm</li>\n   <li>1 day 11am-7pm</li>\n   <li>Available for on-call Sunday-Saturday (rotation with other Clinicians)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities Include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide clinical services to students across a wide age range (10-22 years old) with a variety of diagnoses (e.g. autism, ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, etc.)</li>\n <li>Manage students by providing individual therapy, in-vivo coaching, family/therapy/parent coaching/education, and case management</li>\n <li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to establish clinical treatment goals and assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans</li>\n <li>Attend IEP/CSE meetings for students and update any IEP goals, etc.</li>\n <li>Modalities utilized including CBT, psychotherapy, TF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, etc.</li>\n <li>Respond to students in crisis situations and facilitates processes designed to appropriately manage the crisis and take the lead role in hospitalization cases</li>\n <li>Communicate with external stakeholders, including school districts to provide regular updates regarding individuals’ progress</li>\n <li>Ensures timely and accurate completion of documentation to include: progress notes, resiliency plans, genograms, releases, discharge summaries, de-escalation plans, and discharge paperwork.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#sponsored</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>###sponsored</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in social work with clinical experience (including internship experience).</li>\n <li>CT LCSW or LMSW (or ability to pass LMSW exam within 90 days of hire)</li>\n <li>Have or be eligible for CT School Social Worker Certification (071)</li>\n <li>Valid drivers’ license</li>\n <li>Preferred experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)</li>\n <li>Preferred experience providing clinical services within a residential setting.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
