This position will assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP&#39;S, work instructions, and SQF requirements are in compliance.</strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Roles and responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Read orders, select proper resins and additives.&nbsp;</li><li>Operate extruders and resin-handling equipment.</li><li>Operate extruders at maximum output with minimum scrap generated.</li><li>Make necessary quality checks utilizing micrometer, and dyne test solutions.</li><li>Keep all necessary records including production, quality control, time utilization and material usage.</li><li>Clean dyes, changes dyes and screen packs.</li><li>Responsible for routine operating maintenance.</li><li>Responsible for labeling material and moving rolls and carts to staging area.</li><li>Abide by all rules and procedures that govern the extrusion department.</li><li>Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards. &nbsp;</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma with 2+ years in general warehouse operations.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and understand simple written materials. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to write simple statements and numbers.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to perform arithmetic calculations with fractions and decimals.</li><li>Previous blown film extrusion experience preferred as well as minor mechanical troubleshooting experience.</li><li>Average dexterity and coordination. Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 50lbs.&nbsp;</li><li>Frequent mental/visual attention to monitor extruder operation.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to distinguish colors.</li><li>Must be able to work in a team environment. &nbsp;</li><li>Must adhere to plant safety and housekeeping standards.</li><li>Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.</li><li>Analytical and critical thinking skills</li><li>Ability to quickly assimilate new procedures and industry advances.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
