They are also responsible for customer satisfaction and accurate work results that are noticeable by the customer (i.e., food quality, wholesomeness, presentation, merchandising, portion control and maintenance of departmental food standards).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:</p><p>• Ensure that all food products are consistently prepared and served according to established recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.</p><p>• Follow all Company Policies and Established Procedures in the deli operation.</p><p>• Oversee and train kitchen personnel in cleanliness and sanitation practices, and maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, hoods, other equipment, and food storage areas.</p><p>• Keep work and service area in a safe, sanitary, and orderly manner.</p><p>• Perform inspections that equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition, and by following the kitchen’s preventative maintenance programs.
