SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Plant Supervisor, the Set-Up/Operator sets-up and operates the Vinyl Manual to vinyl coat parts. Includes packaging parts and material handling. Responsible for part quality and efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Set-up, adjust, and operate machine to vinyl coat parts Sorting and packaging parts Verify quantity & quality of material Complete & maintain all required paperwork QUALIFICATIONS: Highly motivated self starter Requires 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience Basic reading & writing skills; good math skills Regular attendance is required; punctual, dependable Strong attention to detail Ability to work in all temperature variations (summer/winter) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently required to sit and talk or hear; occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
