Our commercial truck drivers have a schedule that consists of <u>4 10-hour shifts throughout the week. The start time can be anywhere between 3 am and 6 am</u>. This is a local route, so you'll be able to be home every night. Our drivers have a starting hourly rate between $30-$31.50 per hour. Drivers are paid weekly, direct deposit on Fridays. As a full time employee of Mahoney Environmental below are some of the benefits you should take advantage of:</p><ul><li>Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits are available on the 1st of the month following hire date.</li><li>Uniforms and safety shoes provided.</li><li>Start accruing PTO after 90 days. </li><li>Eligible for sick time on start on hire. </li><li>Paid Holiday, Birthday and Personal time.</li><li>401k retirement plan with 100% company match up to 4% after 90 days.</li></ul><p><b>This position qualifies for a sign on bonus of $1,000.00. The sign on bonus to be paid out in two equal installments. First payment of $500 paid after 6 months of employment and second payment of $500 after one year of employment. </b></p><p><b>What you'll do:</b></p><ul><li>Provide excellent customer service and relay any customer concerns to your manager in a timely fashion. </li><li>Handle 2\" to 3\" hoses pumping out grease trap materials unto truck.</li><li>Clean area around tanks.</li><li>Operate box truck or pick up and drop off containers as needed.</li><li>Stay current on all Mahoney Safety trainings.</li><li>Maintain a good driving record within Mahoney acceptable standards. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>What you need: </b></p><ul><li>A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License. </li><li><u>Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience with your CDL.</u></li><li>Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement (or willingness to get Tanker Endorsement prior to your start date).</li><li>Good driving record. Safety risk rating within Mahoney acceptable standards.</li><li>DOT certified medical card.</li><li>The ability to lift, push or pull 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis</li></ul><p><b>Working Conditions:</b></p><ul><li>Work outdoors in different weather conditions.</li><li>Exposure to used cooking oil and grease trap material odors.</li><li>Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.</li><li>Handling grease coated equipment.</li></ul><p><em>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to the individual's race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, disability, genetic information, status as a military veteran or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. </em></p>",
