    "description_html": "<p>PURPOSE:</p><p>The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation maintenance service and repair</p><p>of equipment as assigned. He/she is also responsible for</p><p>performing the job in a safe and efficient manner and performing trade jobs such as carpentry, painting,</p><p>plumbing etc. May require driving a shuttle van when needed (property specific).</p><p><br></p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>? Assist with the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.</p><p>? Change out light bulbs; perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms to include vinyl</p><p>repair touch up paint minor furniture repair tub caulking tile repairs etc.</p><p>? Perform preventative maintenance for ice machines refrigerators kitchen equipment laundry</p><p>equipment HVAC guest rooms meeting rooms the swimming pool and hot tub.</p><p>? Perform plumbing repair laundry equipment repair preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans</p><p>and supply; monitor energy conservation; repair vacuum cleaners and any other small</p><p>equipment upon request.</p><p>? Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause - determine</p><p>emergency status and report to the Front Desk with findings.</p><p>? Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.</p><p>? Clean the exterior parking lot and remove trash from receptacles.</p><p>? Perform minor landscaping tasks such as pulling weeds between lawn servicing dates.</p><p>? Help the housekeeping department in maintaining public areas of the hotel.</p><p>? Assist with guest transportation if property has shuttle service.</p><p>? Perform preventative maintenance tasks as identified in the CORE program and record the work</p><p>completed.</p><p>? Maintain the needed stock of mechanical items needed to ensure work can be completed timely</p><p>without delays.</p><p>? Advise the General Manager of equipment or supplies needed and properly maintain the</p><p>building.</p><p>? Assist breakfast area in below tasks as needed:</p><p>? Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and</p><p>service-oriented manner.</p><p>? Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the</p><p>proper uniform and name tag when working.</p><p>? Support all areas of the food service as necessary including washing dishes by hand and/or</p><p>placing them in a dishwashing machine restocking dishes glassware utensils pots and pans or</p><p>other necessary equipment sweeping and mopping floors washing work tables walls</p><p>refrigerators and meat blocks moving trash and garbage to designated areas if requested.</p>",
