They are responsible for cleaning and maintaining public and office areas including washrooms as well as answering guest queries.&nbsp;This is a physical position requiring manual labor, lifting, and carrying.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Duties include, but are not limited to:</em>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Clean and maintain lodge areas, public area bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Empty and clean all waste receptacles and transport waste to dumpsters.&nbsp;</li><li>Vacuum, sweep, and scrub floors as necessary.&nbsp;</li><li>Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety issues immediately to the supervisor.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.&nbsp;</li><li>Wash windows.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Required Skills and Abilities:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Organizational and detail-orientated skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Great attitude and ability to communicate with guests when necessary.&nbsp;</li><li>Understand, follow safety procedures, and dispose of hazardous waste properly.&nbsp;</li><li>Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.&nbsp;</li><li>Use hand and power tools applicable to trade.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Required Education and Experience:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Physical Demands:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Physical ability to bend and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.&nbsp;</li><li>Standing and walking for long periods of time.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lift, bend, climb, stoop and reach.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily- reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
