Description

All About You We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an HSSE Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the company's health, safety, security, sustainability and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, which are in compliance with local, state and federal regulations, as well as our parent company, Total Energies requirements. You will work closely with the Industrial Risk Manager, Site Management and employees to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. As an HSSE Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the overall well-being of our workforce, as well as the protection of our environment. You may be asked to participate in risk assessments and provide guidance in implementing appropriate controls to mitigate risks. Additionally, you will lead training programs to ensure that employees are well-informed and equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills. You must be able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders internally and/or externally to drive continuous improvement in HSSE performance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective HSSE management systems. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Proven experience (3-5 years) in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Environmental & regulatory compliance experience, including Title V Air Permits. In-depth working knowledge of HSSE regulations, and industry best practices. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) are highly desirable. Candidates must meet the definition of a "US Person" as defined by ITAR. Responsibilities Active contributor to the implementation of the company's HSSE policies and procedures that are compliant with local, state and federal regulations and Total Energie's requirements. Leads and maintains general safety and environmental programs, which includes new hire HSSE training and required safety training throughout the factory. Manage site security. Leads Safety Committee. Supports the planning & updating of the Emergency Response Plan and exercises. Complete all environmental reporting to required agencies. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations. May complete risk assessment to identify and mitigate potential risks. Lead incident investigations and ensure that corrective actions are tracked and implemented in a timely manner. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on HSSE policies and practices. Provide data analysis on HSSE data and trends to ensure compliance and preventative programs and procedures work effectively. From the trends developing action plans to address negative trends or HSSE performance. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSSE programs and initiatives. Responsible for maintaining radiation safety program and laser safety program. May participate in new product/process reviews, which may include process hazard analysis, operator training, etc. Stay up-to-date with new developments and changes in HSSE regulations and industry best practices.
