Compensation: $80,000to $100,000 annually Overview We are looking for a leader in Risk Management with a proven record in developing and leading Risk Management programs. Here are some of the perks RAM has to offer: Competitive compensation which includes bonuses outlined by the property commission structure. 15 days of paid time off per year (prorated based on your start date 9 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday per year Medical, dental and vision insurance 401k with employer match Company paid life insurance Company paid short term and long-term disability after 1 year of service Key Responsibilities Lead the company's enterprise risk management program across a multi-family housing portfolio. Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational, financial, legal, safety, and compliance risks. Partner with executive leadership to identify, prioritize, and address organizational risks. Oversee insurance programs, claims management, and litigation support to minimize financial exposure. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing, OSHA, and company policies. Lead risk assessments related to resident safety, property operations, vendor management, cybersecurity, and business continuity. Analyze claims, incidents, and operational trends to identify risks and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and risk management programs that support safe and compliant operations. Collaborate with regional and onsite teams to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and risk awareness. Oversee incident response, crisis management, and loss prevention initiatives across the portfolio. Develop and deliver risk management and compliance training programs for corporate and onsite associates. Monitor key risk metrics and provide regular reporting and recommendations to executive leadership. Lead and develop a team of risk management professionals, ensuring consistent execution of risk programs across all communities. Support acquisitions, new developments, and major capital projects through risk assessments and due diligence reviews. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Safety Management, Insurance, Property Management, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in risk management, claims administration, insurance, safety, compliance, property management, or a related field. Experience in multifamily housing, real estate, hospitality, insurance, or a highly regulated operational environment preferred. Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, OSHA standards, insurance claims processes, and risk management principles preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and reporting tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to various levels of leadership. Ability to manage multiple priorities, conduct site visits, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
