    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Westmoreland Obstetrics and Gynecologic Associates</strong>, a practice partner of <strong>Together Women's Health</strong>, is seeking a full time <strong>Registered Nurse (RN)</strong> to join their growing team!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As an experienced practitioner, the <strong>Registered Nurse</strong> is accountable for providing high quality, individualized, goal directed care for all patients and their families through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Applicants must be able to travel to both locations: Lake Bluff and Grayslake. </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Escorts patients to and from exam rooms and readies them for physicians; takes vital signs, records medical history/symptoms, ensures medical chart/lab test results are available and complete</li>\n <li>Uses a team approach to develop and achieve daily patient-centered individualized care goals.</li>\n <li>Acknowledges and values the contributions of the patients’ significant others as an integral part of the plan of care</li>\n <li>Performs telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls, pharmacy calls; may assist by calling to set up appointments or arrange hospital tests or admissions</li>\n <li>Administers immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; records and documents all such activities in the chart</li>\n <li>Assists physician with patient examinations, diagnostic tests and/or procedures</li>\n <li>Cleans and stocks all patient examination rooms; cleans and prepares instruments for procedures; keeps list of needed medical supplies</li>\n <li>Completes paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, FMLA, etc.</li>\n <li>Counsels’ patients concerning lifestyle modifications, medication regimens, side effects, and interactions using an appropriate psychosocial communication level</li>\n <li>Communicates to patients and office coordinators follow-up appointments, ancillary and/or pre-operative testing and scheduling needed for patient</li>\n <li>Coordinates ordering of tests/procedures with other clinical staff</li>\n <li>Respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient</li>\n <li>Reports all test results to the patient as directed by the physician</li>\n <li>Additional duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate from an accredited school of nursing</li>\n <li>State of Illinois RN License</li>\n <li>BLS certification</li>\n <li>At least one year of working experience as an RN</li>\n <li>OB/GYN experience preferred, but not required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Together Women’s Health (TWH)?</strong>Because we do things a bit differently here.
