As <strong>Branch Operations Manager</strong>, you&rsquo;ll own the end-to-end operations and lead a talented team responsible for delivering complex, high impact projects on time and on budget.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This is a <strong>strategic leadership role</strong> that blends operational mastery with team development. You&rsquo;ll oversee warehouse operations, logistics, labor planning, and cost center performance, ensuring excellence through data driven KPIs, Lean methods, and Six Sigma discipline.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You&rsquo;ll manage a team of roughly 30 employees (including supervisors and technicians), driving continuous improvement and building a culture focused on accountability, technical proficiency, and teamwork. This is an opportunity to <strong>lead SmartSource&rsquo;s most dynamic branch</strong>, influence best practices across the network, and grow into broader operational leadership.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Own full branch operations:</strong> warehouse performance, logistics, labor scheduling, job planning, and onsite project execution within a data driven, continuous improvement environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Lead and develop the team:</strong> coach supervisors and technicians, establish clear accountability, and foster a results oriented workplace rooted in precision and pride.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Drive cost and efficiency:</strong> manage labor and overtime exposure through forecasting and strategic staffing across a variable event calendar.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Deliver flawless execution:</strong> ensure technical readiness for IT and AV setups, monitor firstpass yield, and apply root cause analysis to eliminate inefficiencies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Own the metrics:</strong> track and deliver success on key performance indicators enabling <strong>Big Bets and Wildly Important Goals</strong>. Examples include First Pass Yield and overtime mitigation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Champion safety and compliance:</strong> uphold safety and quality standards throughout branch and field operations.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5+ years of operations management experience in a <strong>high volume, fast paced</strong> environment (distribution, logistics, or field operations).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred backgrounds include Operations Managers or Distribution Center Operations Managers from Amazon, Wayfair, Chewy, or Walmart DCOMs</strong>&mdash;or comparable experience managing largescale fulfillment or logistics operations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven ability to manage labor efficiency, throughput, and scheduling complexity under time pressure.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience leading teams of 20+ across multiple functions or shifts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analytical, metrics driven mindset able to translate data into actionable improvements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Well organized with strong multitasking ability in a dynamic project based setting.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or equipment management system experience preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Technical fluency in IT or AV deployment is a plus.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Event technology, IT rental, or AV production environments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with professional AV brands (JBL, Meyer, Christie, Yamaha, Shure, etc.).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Background in Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or other process improvement systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">ERP or rental management experience in multisite operations.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Why You&rsquo;ll Love Working Here</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At SmartSource, you&rsquo;ll lead an environment that <strong>values continuous improvement, teamwork, execution, professionalism, and attention to detail</strong>.
