    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Precision Air</strong> is looking for a <strong>Sheet Metal</strong> /<strong>A&amp;P Mechanic&nbsp;</strong>for our site in<strong>&nbsp;Florence, SC</strong>. The ideal candidate will have heavy sheet metal experience, A&amp;P license, GA and corporate experience (fixed and rotary wing aircraft), and be able to travel to other locations.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to perform repairs, maintenance, and modifications in accordance with applicable FAA regulations, Repair Station manual, and manufacturer&rsquo;s instructions with little to no supervision, to include performing off-site maintenance and travel.&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and alteration of aircraft and aircraft engines to FAA or military airworthiness standards. (Piston &amp; Turbine engine).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reads and interprets manufacturer&rsquo;s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, engineering drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform structural repairs on metal and composite aircraft to procedures in aircraft structural repair manual, engineering drawings or AC 43-13.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Use hand, shop, sheet metal, precision, and calibrated tools.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform line station maintenance to keep aircraft in flyable and safe operating condition.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Operate ground equipment such as tugs, power carts and forklift.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge and ability to work aircraft mechanical systems, airframe structures, powerplants, propellers, and electrical systems.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarization with aircraft track and balance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and process specifications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to perform simple to moderate sheet metal and composite repairs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge in the use of OEM Manuals.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of aircraft records and maintenance entries.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work in a team environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">English language proficiency required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Good communication skills.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Experience/Requirements and Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">FAA Airframe &amp; Power Plant Certificate required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of 5 years Aircraft Mechanic/ Sheet Metal experience on fixed and rotor wing aircraft.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to travel to our site in Georgetown, SC and other locations as needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Acceptable completion or drug screening &amp; background check requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have a basic set of hand tools required to perform duties and responsibilities.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Benefits Include:</strong><br>401(K) Plan with Employer Match, Health Insurance (medical, dental, and vision), Paid PTO, Flexible Spending Accounts (Health and Dependent Care), Life insurance, short term and long-term disability, Full Holiday Schedule and more.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This company, its subsidiaries, and joint ventures will provide equal employment opportunities to all persons and prohibits employment decisions based on race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disabling condition, political affiliation, protected veteran&rsquo;s status, or sexual orientation.
