    "description": "<h2>The Opportunity</h2>\n<p>The Communications & Publications Game-Night Staff is responsible for assisting the Communications & Publications Staff in implementing the team’s media relations efforts on game nights. This position works part-time during the NBA and NBA G League preseason, regular season, and any applicable playoff season located at FedExForum in Memphis, TN, and Landers Center in Southaven, MS.</p>\n<h2>In This Role You Will</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Accurately and efficiently distribute credentials to media and guests;</li>\n <li>Record and transcribe pregame and postgame interviews with players, coaches, and staff;</li>\n <li>Assist with press conferences in the media work room;</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>The Experience You Will Bring</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required; at least one year of college coursework in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of AP Style and ability to apply it in written materials</li>\n <li>Ability to quickly and accurately transcribe audio files</li>\n <li>Ability to work most Memphis Grizzlies home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be available prior to media arrival on game days</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the Memphis Grizzlies and NBA basketball</li>\n <li>Professional and personable demeanor</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic with solid organizational and time management skills</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, game-night environment</li>\n <li>Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working toward Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Sports Management, or other relevant degree program.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At the Memphis Grizzlies, we strive to provide a fun, diverse, and rewarding work environment for all team members.
