Guest teachers have the support of grade level teams to ensure seamless coverage and support. This role is on-demand with hours and assignments fluctuating based on need. High school diploma or GED with some college required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Experience: Experience in an urban K-12 classroom setting strongly preferred</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Knowledge and Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Knowledge of core academic subject assigned and ability to follow lesson plans in 6-12th grade content</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Basic knowledge of curricula and instructional practices or implementation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Computer skills (Microsoft and Google proficiency)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Compensation &amp; Benefits</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Prep Public Schools offers a competitive hourly rate.
